CATTI杯“韓素音青年翻譯獎”競賽由中國翻譯家協會《中國翻譯》編輯部主辦，是我國翻譯界組織時間最長🧭、規模最大🫄🏿、規格最高🫂、影響最廣的翻譯大賽，被譽為翻譯界的“諾貝爾獎”。1989年3月，英籍著名女作家韓素音女士為《中國翻譯》提供了一筆贊助基金♉️，《中國翻譯》編輯部決定用這筆基金設立“韓素音青年翻譯獎”，同年舉行“第一屆‘韓素音青年翻譯獎’競賽”。這一賽事在海內外廣受歡迎和認可🧣，現已發展成一項一年一度的國際性翻譯大賽🤜🏻。

 In March 1989, Miss Han Suyin, a well-known British Chinese writer, funded CTJ (Chinese Translators Journal) to create "Han Suyin Award for Young Translators", which is also called a Nobel Prize because of its long history, large scale, and great impact in the Chinese translation industry. So far, it has become an annual international translation competition and has given out awards 27 times as of 2015.
